SPORT CLUBE VIANENSE HONOURED IN THE TOWN HALL OF VIANA DO CASTELO
Sport Clube Vianense SAD was received this Monday by Luis Nobre, Mayor of Viana do Castelo. In a ceremony that took place at the City Hall, and that counted with the presence of the whole direction, technical structure and team, Luis Nobre congratulated the SCV SAD for the work developed in this sportive season.
The Mayor pointed out that the results achieved “fill all the people of Vianenese with pride”, praising “all the work done to unite all Vianenses”, with SCV SAD as a link. He also stated his commitment to “ensure that the municipality of Viana do Castelo will be increasingly committed to the success of the sports project of the SCV SAD, both through support for the construction of the necessary infrastructure, and in attracting and involving the strong business entrepenuers of Viana do Castelo in this project led by Sport Clube Vianense SAD.”
This ceremony occurred at the culmination of a weekend of great emotions, after the presence of SCV SAD in the Final of the Portuguese Championship, at Jamor Stadium. In this game, more than 2500 Vianense fans marked their presence, with unconditional support for the team, in a clear demonstration of the Vianense character and spirit.
Now follows League 3, where it is essential to continue to count on the support of all Vianenses, including their institutions, to ensure a presence that worthily represents the entire district of Viana do Castelo.
